My DIR-655 has worked well for 3 months; both ethernet and wireless. Yesterday I accidentally deleted this WiFi router from my Kindle Fire list of WiFi connections. Now, when I try to re-establish Kindle wireless logon, the router will not accept the previously used password.
As a non-techno-geek, I tried to find help in the DIR-655 manual. But it is written in Greek and not oriented to the wireless user.
Can anyone suggest what to try? System particulars are:
Firmware: 2.04NA, 20, Jul, 2011
Part No: BIR655ANA... B1
S/N: F35F5BB09777
Admin password works from my PC and was previously used on the Kindle Fire.
Security Mode: wpa_psk
Under "TOOLS" I note the "USER" pasword fields are blank.
Thanks in advance... especially if you can help.

What wireless modes are you using? Under Setup/Wireless/Manual.
Try single mode G or N or mixed G and N?
Channel Width set for Auto 20/40Mhz or try 20Mhz only.
Try setting a manual channel to a open or unused channel.
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/AES Only. Some WiFi adapters don't support AES, so you might want to try TPIK only or Auto.

Thanks for your reply and suggestions. The problem was me, not the router. I failed to reallize the wireless logon password is case sensitive.
The problem is solved.
Thanks again...
