Title: DIR-655 Access Control
Post by: cablemouse on March 23, 2009, 11:16:01 PM
Hey, I'm new to this forum, I tried searching around but found no answers. This may sound like a noob question but here it goes:

I have a:
D-Link DIR-655
Hardware Version: A4
Running Firmware Version 1.21.

I noticed with the network access control [MAC Address Filtering] it filters wired as well as wireless MAC Addresses. Here is the problem, I have more than 24 devices including the wired and wireless, and the list is full. My old router didn't filter wired LAN. [WRT-54G]. Is there some way to set it, so that it will not filter wired LAN, but only filter wireless adapters? I don't have a need to manage wired just wireless.

Thanks in advance for any help. This router is so much better than my old one, it actually works and doesn't die, lol!

It can't be done.
The MAC filter is for all connected devices.

Ok, that's what I figured, just wasn't sure.
