Post by: yves03250 on April 15, 2012, 10:16:41 AM
I record on the SD-Card using motion detection as trigger
Is there a way to configure the camera to Overwrite older recordings like on the DCS-2121 when the SD Card is full
Sorry for my bad english as I am french

I don't know the answer to this, but why not experiment and find out? Either use a small card or put some large files on the card before inserting it into the camera so that you reach the maximum capacity quickly, then see what happens when the camera creates some new files triggered by motion.

Be sure to report back. I'd like to know the answer to this also.

If recorded with events and not "recording". It will just stop record when memmorycard is full.

There is no option in the firmware that makes you overwrite the oldest files.
