Hi everyone,
I'm new, and I have read lots of other posts on how to make this work but I am not that computer savvy and its not working. I have a camera set up in my kitchen and it works and I can view it in our house, on other computers or my iphone. But I can't view it from my work or anywhere outside our wireless range.
It is a DCS-920. I have opened port 80, and checked it with a port checker and it says its open. I have bell as a provider with a 2 wire 2701hg-g modem.
I read on here about someone else not having a gateway address or primary DNS. I don't know what to put in there. My camera address is 192.168.2.20.
I can't seem to post a screen shot, if I can get instructions, then it may help.
Thanks,
Jetera

When you are successfully accessing your camera from within your home network, are you using the mydlink website or a direct video feed (192.168.2.20/mjpeg.cgi)?

Thanks for such a quick reply! Sorry I stepped out thinking it could take days!
I look at my video feed from the dlink site and in my address bar I see thisL:
http://192.168.2.20/Jview.htm?Currenttime=2012-04-19 12:40:45
I downloaded an app called dlink cams to see it on my iphone.
Maybe I am not going to the correct address to see it?

I also looked at my router, its port 80 is open. It made me choose a device to add the camera application to, I chose one of our computers.
I have the camera on, I can see it on the dlink website from any computer in my house. I set up my router to open port 80 and allow the camera to use that port. I know my external router address but when I go outside my LAN and try and see it by typing in my router's external address it can't connect.
I am so confused.
