thank you for no answers!! >:(
i find a WORKING solution by myself: i purchased "Filebrowser" from app store. It works well, without so much stupid configurations (the only request of Filebrowser is the ipaddress and, doh!, it works!! Your Shareport mobile asks username, password, ip address, network name, port: i tried to leave them blank, filled, with backslash, without backslash, 8181, 8080...i tried all possible combinations the result was always the same "impossible to establish a connection"!).
A suggestion: update your app Shareport mobile and make it simpler to configure. Add a guide and make it work!

I have exactly the same issue with both my ipad and my galaxy tab (running honeycomb).
I can access files using either Filebrowser on the ipad or File Manager Hd on the android but Shareport won't even detect the drive on either. For that matter, dlna clients on both devices will detect the server but don't see any files.
So, in other words, fail! :-[

What version of SP are you using? What DLink router are you using SP with?
Try v4 SP?
