Title: how to disable default apps ?

I can't get users' access rights working properly in the web file server (seems ti be ok via FTP), so I'd like to disable this default app.

I am not allowed to do it in the online GUI, so I'd like to know how it can be done in order to prevent read-and-write access from my basic users.

Do you have the option in the web UI under Management > Application Management?

no. even when logged in as admin, the only apps I am allowed to disable in that section are the three add-ons I  added by myself.

none of the default apps appears in that section.

You should find why rights does not work correctly. You cannot disable default web file broswer.
