Title: use DIR-655 as desktop wireless adapter?
Post by: rikb on May 28, 2012, 05:33:10 PM
i have a desktop with a wired Ether port, and want to use the DIR-655 to access the wireless LAN used by the rest of my household.  this should be possible, right?  i've seen discussion of the DIR-655 as a bridge and repeater, but can't figure this one out?  thanks for any pointers.

You can turn the 655 into an AP which it needs to be wired to a host router. Repeater or bridge modes
is not supported.
