Daylight savings time appears to be broken.
The time stays the same when DST is enabled or disabled. I use the built in NTP server feature to set the time for use with time based rules, when it is time for the kiddies to get their butts off the internet.
The current workaround is to manually change the time zone to get the NTP time to be accurate with local time. This problem is currently in the Pacific time zone.
Occurrences will be twice a year, so I would consider this to be a low priority.
Open to suggestions/fixes. Currently on firmware 1.02.
I will polish up all the router settings, make some time based rules and hook up the rest of the house this weekend.
Xbox live traffic(2-ea), streaming video via XBL, Netflix, network sites(CBS, NBC, ETC.) and You tube. Might even throw some high bit count VPN at it.
It is rock solid as far as throughput:

I've been using NTP and no DST on my routers. I currently use time.nist.gov and there subsidiary addresses.

Yes, that works perfect(auto sync).
It was an original bug in the 825 but works perfect now(auto sync).
In California right now we are on DST, so when I get my time from time.nist.gov it displays as an hour behind the DST in California. My fix is to just select the Arizona time zone because they don't have DST and it moves the 827 clock ahead an hour(-7GMT).
If I select PST (-8GMT) and select DST, the time I get from time.nist.gov shows 1 hour behind the current time in California(5:00PM instead of 6:00PM, Spring forward/Fall back). This worked perfect in the 825, the availability to change dates for DST is great, but has no effect on the 827 right now. When DST is enabled right now the time should move forward 1 hour and does not.
I have to set all of the house clocks anyhow on that date, so just a minor bug to put on the wish list. Because of the date change for DST I had to manually move the time anyhow this year on the 825.
I hate DST, in California for half the year we are in sync with Arizona(right now), for the other half we are an hour ahead(starting in November). >:(
