Title: Find status of RMA of a DIR-615(B2)
Post by: smlunatick on March 30, 2009, 08:12:46 AM
Where and how do I find my RMA status?

I sent my DIR-615(B2) in and I want to know where it is?

To find the status of your RMA you will have to call the RMA team directly at 1 800 326 1688 ext. 6314

Thank you.

The replacement unit showed up before I was able to check with D-Link myself.  I was asking about this since I "paid" for shipping with confirmation, which I never received.  I called the number and got the date of reception @ D-Link.   Then I called the the shipping company and got a refund of the all delivery charges.  The delivery services were never "honoured."

smlunatic ....
Why did you return the router?
Was it related to unexplained resets?

YES.

Wireless network enabled with 3 Ethernet LAN ports connected, the router continuous restarts.  With the wireless network "disabled," the router worked well (but as a "wired" router.)

Are you having better success with the new router?

Mine also randomly resets. >:(

The Globe icon turns red, I lose internet access, and the logs all clear, its as if its rebooting.
It doesn't happen every hour, but the longest its ran without a reset for any period of time is 3 days.
After reading through this forum, and a random reset this morning, I've changed my wireless from auto-scan to static on channel 1.
Should I experience another random reset, I will turn the wireless off completely as my next test to further isolate the problem.

I thought this router was a good deal when I bought it, but now I'm thinking it really a POS!
