Title: Repeater-Type Config Work-Around?
Post by: johnston21 on June 07, 2012, 08:49:39 AM
What about physically plugging it in to a bridge (specifically the DAP-1522) instead of the router?

that would probably be an AP mode configuration. Repeater means that it's connecting wirelessly to the main wireless AP and broadcasting that signal further down the line.

...well that didn't work well. The DAP-1360 is my answer. Seems the verbiage on the Canadian website hasn't been updated to reflect that of the US site, re: Access Point/Bridge only, no Repeater-mode.

I believe that the 1525 in general doesn't support repeater mode. Only AP and Bridge.
