DNS 320, 2 weeks old. V2.02 Firmware. Hitachi discs: 1TB (HDT721010SLA360) and 2TB (HDS722020ALA330) in Standard mode. Used as network drives only, 1TB is UPnP Server. No other features enabled. Been working just fine.
DNS 320 then crashed. Could not access discs as shared drives on a networked PC. Browser management was very intermittent if accessible at all.
I ended up pressing in the reset button. The browser management came back to life, but it is now treating the discs as if they are new and require formatting.
Do I really have to reformat the discs and lose what is on them?
Whilst writing this, it has crashed again. Left hand and center blue lights are on, and the right hand blue light is flashing away. No access via a browser. Pressing reset brings browser management access back to life.
Any ideas or do I have a defective DNS 320?
