So I'm a fairly experienced openvpn administrator, I got my certs and stuff uploaded. I even got my client connected. But data just will not pass. I've enabled split mode, added local LAN networks to that, I've tried with 'full tunnel mode' and nothing, no data will pass whatsoever.
Oh yes, and the OpenVPN support has a huge gaping hole - no CRL support. Ie: you can't revoke a user's access without re-issuing EVERYONE ELSES access. Really.
As for the other VPN methods, well L2TP, PPTP are really not advisable, IPSec is a joke, and the SSL VPN also _doesnt frickin work_. Specifically it attempts to have me download a linux client on my mac. Duh.

I would contact your local regional Dlink Level 2 or higher support for this issue you have.

Well that is certainly possible. I might even do that.
Or alternatively, I might return this as defective. If it doesnt support VPN out of the box like it says it does, that qualifies as a mfgr defect imo.
I don't have time for broken products. I just want things that WORK.

Understand the frustrations. This is a business class router. I don't have much experience with this particular class of router and the options. DLink level 2 should be able to help out.
Also there is FW updates so it's possible an update might resolve this as well. I would contact DLink and ask. Let us know how it goes.
