I cannot seem to get my Bitorrent client working again since I re-sychronized my drives after the infamous "degraded" drive status that I had a few weeks ago.
Here's what I've done so far.
- deleted the NAS Prog directory
- restarted the system
- used the latest Easysearch utility to instal client
- restarted system
- tried getting into the BT client - NO LUCK!
Initially when I tried installing the BT client, it said "Check Drives"
When I try to go into the BT client a window pops up that say that it's not installed. But the window is over top of what appears to be the Bitorrent user interface. And when I try to re-install without deleting the NAS Prog directory, it says "BiTorrent does not supported on this device now." Any good ideas?
<sigh> I would love this device if it didn't seem to be so buggy! And I don't need to hear how yours might be working perfectly. If you have one that is working perfectly and never had a problem and want to trade with me, then let's talk. :)

What firmware version are you running? Did you check to verify the drives where in sync before installing BT?
-
I'm running v1.06
I had to re-synchronize 3x before it finally took. I'm getting so frustrated with this unit! It seems that it might work well as a RAID 1 device, -->OR<-- a BT client, but not both at the same time. After a power failure a couple of days ago, it's now in a DEGRADED status A G A I N. <sigh>.

What hard drives are you using?

There are two SAMSUNG HD103UJ 1TB drives in the DNS-323.
