Title: DNS-320 can't find my harddrive
Post by: jos603 on June 23, 2012, 02:36:50 AM
I have been trying to setup the DNS-320  2-Bay Network Storage ShareCentre ver 2.10(EU), but it stops at the setup stage of the installation when selecting a device. Their are no devices shown I have installed a 1TB harddrive Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS into the storage bay. I have been trying all day but with no result. I have a cisco SF 100D-05  switch and a Buffalo Air Station Nfiniti router. Any help would be grateful.javascript:void(0);

It would help if you gave more information, for example, if you have tried the drive in the other slot, are you accessing the DNS-320 using the setup wizard or directly through the web interface?

Assuming your DNS-320 and PC are both connected to the switch I would advise finding out the IP address of the DNS and then use the web interface to set everything up.
