Title: Think I figure out the problems I've had...

First I want to say sorry for the "Product Bashing and Negitivity" that got my other ShawnTRD user name banned.

I was reading stuff on my cable company modem we use, and it said.
"Restarting or resetting the cable modem may take 5 to 30 minutes."
I have always just unplugged it for about 5 minutes or less. Well last Friday I unplugged the modem, 655 and the Vonage router, and went out to dinner. We came back about 3 hours later and I plugged in the Modem (waited), then the DIR655 (waited), then the Vonage router. Then turned on my computer and stuff. All weekend I haven't had a problem. This week I will be putting it to the test. And I report back..

Sometimes we let our frustrations get the best of us. Sorry you let it get out of hand but very glad you finally figured it out. Sometimes as much as we hate it reading the manual is required. And every once in a while helpful.  ;)
