i downloaded the new firmware now i cant reset or do anything with my 932l the light stays red it worked perfect before ive tried everything can anyone help or will dlink send a new one

Two things to try: While the DCS-932L is powered-up, press and hold the recessed reset button on the rear of the camera with a paperclip for >6 seconds. This procedure should reset the camera to the factory defaults. Alternatively, if you have access to the DCS-932L administrative web interface (via a browser), you can upload an older version of the firmware.

I too like most on this subject have made the mistake in clicking on the update button when signing in to my camera via my smart phone Android app. Nothing I do according to the afore mentioned instructions will bring the camera back to a factory state. While this camera was fairly inexpensive, it worked well and met my needs. Now, it's just a paperweight.
I don't see any concerned reply from D-Link regarding this problem. I'll start it in a new topic just the same.
