Haven't checked into the Forum in awhile but my DIR-655 (REV A) works great.
I have 1.34NA isntalled......is there later version ?....I tried the firmware update button within the router but says it is the latest......also if new version.....any reason to upgrade ?
II'm not in habit of upgrading firmware on routers uneless needed but 1.34NA is May 2010...~2 yeers old.

If your router isn't exhibiting any problems, no reason to update. There is one last version v1.35. Update only if after troubleshooting any problems if they arise. Keep what you got going now if it's working great.

I updated my today see my issue to the 1.35NA firmware.
Personally I don't know if there is a big difference but I do know that the version was uploaded in 12/28/2010. And from what I can tell this is the last firmware update they made. I have the A version.

I also agree with Furry if it aint broke don't fix it.
