Title: Static routing DGS-1500-20
Post by: sanderl on July 11, 2012, 07:12:20 AM
Hello Guy,

I'm new here and new at this D-Link switching and routing stuff.
Sorry that this post is in de DGS-1248T section but I cant find a DGS-1500 section :(

Problem: (Don't know if its even possible with this switch)
I'm trying to create 2 VLans and route between them.

What I've done so far:
Create 2 vlans (VLan10 and VLan20) and added a IP address (VLan10, 192.168.20.254 and VLan20, 192.168.20.254)
There are 2 computers, computer1 vlan10 ip:192.168.10.1, computer2 vlan20 ip:192.168.20.1.
How can they communicate with each other?
There is no real routing table, the only thing I can do is create a static route for a IP address but that doesn't work.

Help is much appreciated,
Sander

I found this:
ftp://ftp.dlink.de/dgs/dgs-1500-28p/documentation/DGS-1500-28p_HowTo_statisches_Routing.pdf

It's German, but that shouldn't be a problem, is it?  ;D
