Title: NEED WIRING DIAGRAM FOR DNS-321 REBUILDING 2 DNS UNITS
Post by: WC Fields on July 26, 2012, 11:04:38 AM
Does anyone have this wiring diagram, seems one cannot get it from the factory, or at least they are not answering my emails!  >:(

Wiring diagrams are confidential and I.P. for any DLink product, thus DLink will not release such information to the public. If your units need service, then I recommend sending them back to DLink for service and repairs.

The DNS-321 has been out since 2008 and was phased out earlier this year (as per the D-Link website, DNS-321 (http://www.dlink.com/us/en/home-solutions/support/product/dns-321-2-bay-network-storage-enclosure)). Unless the unit is under warranty, it's most likely only worth repairing if it's a DIY job.

Gee, why so secret, is this rocket science or something?  All I want to know is the pin out for the power supply and the power supply data so I can replace several power supplies without paying the arm & leg wanted on EBay.  Seems Dlink should be more cooperative if they want a good public image!
