Title: Can't disable iTunes server
Post by: harrisjr on April 11, 2009, 07:51:10 AM
I'm trying to disable the iTunes server on my DNS-323.  When I click the "Disable" radio button and click the "Save Settings" button, I get an "error on page" message on the bottom left hand side of my browser.  I have rebooted the NAS, and tried 3 different browsers.  Looks like a javascript error.

Can anyone give me any more suggestions?

Thanks.

J

What firmware are you running? I would recommend updating to the latest firmware and resetting the unit to factory defaults. Default in this firmware is disabled.

i have the same problem as of tonight ,never had a problem with the device and all of the sudden problems ...

i am running f/w 1.06

ECF: it is a pain resetting to default when you have all the services running and configuring everything back up, you shouldn't have to do this
