Alright I had a post here, but I figured it all out myself. So far the router is working perfectly and I love it. So far it's faster than my old Netgear WRN2000V3. I was getting about 975 KB/sec transferring from my bedroom to my living room. I have a Western Digital TV Live Hub, which isn't a traditional NAS, only one processor so it's slow.
With the new D-Link I am getting 1.2 MB/sec down to 1.0 MB/sec. So far it has not dropped below that.
Setup was a little messed up at first.. I could not get it to work with the CD.. why? Because I must have clicked "continue without login/password". You can't do that I think. So I reset the router with the button on the back, logged in and set it up myself.
I reserved IP addresses for both of my computers and my WD unit in the living room. Now to go locate DMZ for myself.
Later on I'll learn about QOS, because my Girlfriends Daughter will be using the router and I want to limit her speed.
The main thing I am happy about is that the router gets better signal to my living room (20 or 25 feet away) and the unit has stayed connected so far. With the Netgear it always lost signal.

Oh yeah, and I'm running the 2.07 firmware.. did I really need to go from 2.02 to 2.05.1, then 2.05.2, then 2.06, then 2.07? Eitherway I did it.
... and a big thanks for Furrynutz for answering my questions.

Ya I think you had to go thru all that mess. Glad it's working well. Save the routers configuration to file for safe keeping.
Enjoy. :)
