Title: Upgrading to firmware 2.11
Post by: gary.steele on July 31, 2012, 12:20:03 PM
I have tried to update a B1 to version 2.11.  The upgrade goes fine and all looks well.  I take it to the install location and the unit seems dead.  Upon checking the unit is in a D-Link Access Point Recovery Mode.  No matter which firmware I pick and hit upload the message "waiting for 192.168.0.50" just stays on the screen.  How do I get the 1360 firmware reloaded?

Download the .bin file to your PC. Then put a static IP address on the PC your trying to send the FW to, say 192.168.0.100, then open the browser to the DAPs web page and if your seeing the Recovery Mode screen, It should have a button to locate the .bin file to send. See if it will accept the file.

If this doesn't work then you'll need to call DLink support and RMA the unit.

Guess I'll be going the RMA route.  Did use e a static address of 192.168.0.66, found the file and hit upload... waited for 3 hours - nothing happens.
