Hi All, I just setup this NAS and found after a night that my single drive (WD20EARS) was boiling. The Sharecenter site under "Hard Drive Information" constantly shows "0°C / 32°F" and doesn't change so the auto fan setting never kicks in.
Anyone know why the nas doesn't appear to read my drive temp? All other data transfer/etc to this drive seem to be working.
At this point I've turned the fan onto full for fear of the drive failing due to the heat (it's hot to the touch).

I forgot to add, I'm running the stock firmware that came with the NAS.

I would suggest upgrading to the latest firmware, that would be a good start. I know this is not great advice but it could be a start.
