Title: DCS-932L will not send email
Post by: PodcastSteve on August 03, 2012, 06:46:39 AM
I am trying to configure email and FTP and I am getting "invalid" or cannot contact server error messages. Any suggestions what I should look for? I have tried all the fixes suggested in the forum but nothing seems to be making it work.

You should be using your ISP's SMTP server or I guess you could use the GMail configuration the previous poster provided if using a GMail account.  Note that your ISP may block you from using their SMTP server(s) if your device(s) send excessive emails if you configure the camera to send email via Motion Detection.
