I have been following the Mac installation guide from provided in video from D-link themselves:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7jUYe8P4aI
I got the camera to work as described, but only when connected via ethernet cable, while for some reason when disconnected (thus wireless) the front light turns from green to red.
The strange thing is that it is connected to my router, I can see it in the connected devices list, I have updated the firmware to the 28th June, 2012 release - v1.03, build 8, but still it will not stream, the problem being that I cannot connect to the IP address.
I feel close to cracking the problem but I have run out of options, anybody been in this situation and succeeded?
Please, no advice to reset the device, we all know what that entails and besides, I've done it already, several times.

I'm on Macs, and iPad & iPodTouch, fully functional - one camera wired, one wireless.
How can I help? Need to know your settings. Are you able to post screenshots (maybe with passwords blocked out?)

I would suggest you guys try out teamviewer.com is a tool to help someone set up and check settings if needed. ;)

acellier: Thanks for the extension of help, you're lucky, I think thought settings are key. I was on to tech support and they told me that I would have to change all of my routers setting from "Auto" to something non conditional e.g. WPA2, AES security...
I'll not have a chance to try that for about a week, so will reply back then if successful or not. I wish I didn't have to change anything, it should just be plug and play really, those settings could upset other member of my house as I'm sharing...
