Title: Motion Detection Video FTP
Post by: waluigi on August 05, 2012, 08:20:35 AM
I am thinking of buying 932L, and was wondering if it has facility to ftp upload a 10 second video when motion is detected.
I already have 1130 which already does it (after I upgraded firmware 6 months back)

I searched the forums and seems like the 932L can upload/email 6 frames when motion is detected but I did not find any reference to video upload.

While the DCS-932L (and 930) do not (upon motion detection) ftp video per se, they do send a series of jpgs which is basically as good, as long as something is moving
We have been using this mode for a year with these cameras, with few complaints.
