The only ISP options for 3g usb are AT&T and AT&T. Since all of the documentation says that EV-DO is supported, it seems odd that the only option is a UTMS carrier. I have a Sprint 598u card that I would love to get working on this, but the logs don't even register an attempt connection. Am I missing something?

I don't think it's a hardware limitation. Just choose at&t, find out what your settings are to connect with the adapter and enter them in manually. Then see if it will connect.

We've tried every combination we can think of- both at&t options, different countries, no isp, etc. I used the connection information from the Sprint software. The logs show nothing other than 3g init- then nothing. I would have expected it to show a failure in the log. When I go to the status page, the 'Connect' button doesn't seem to do anything. It looks like the 3g functionality was really just an after-thought on this device (no documentation or logging). Will 1.30 address any of this and when will it be available? I was really hoping to avoid the Cradlepoint price tag, but I may just not have an option.

Lycan has mentioned that 1.30 will have a different Shareport version, and updated software as well. He did also mention that the list of providers and compatible adapters will all grow. So, just be patient. ;)

It's currently not supporting US providers.
AT&T is listed but not functional.

Lycan,
Will it work in 1.30? If so, what is the estimated release date?

I can't say, but I don't believe it will.
