Bit of a weird one I think. Setup the DNS 320 from the CD and all seemed to be fine (i.e. copied files over to the NAS and created shares and could access files). Could also see it from My Computer and successfully setup my popcorn hour media player using YAMJ.
After 2 days being on the network, I can no longer access the drives using SMB (via popcorn) and also has disappeared from the network using My Computer (even with the firewall switched off). I have changed the IP on the DNS 320 with no change. I can access the NAS using the media source on the popcorn if I enable Upnp, but I really want to use SMB so I can access the popcorn using YAMJ.
Any ideas to see the NAS through My Computer without using uPnP?

Same here. but I think my problem is more complex.
Actually, DNS-320 is ok before I upgraded to 2.03.
Problem after upgrade:
1.P2P folder is invisible.
2.My popcornhour A300 intermittent can not find DNS-320.

Hi wrt54gs
did you get your problem fixed? I got a new DNS-320, but after the firmware upgrade, can't find the DNS-320 from the network anymore, can ping the device ip, can login through the web browser, but just can't access the device via Windows Explorer
it's really frustrated with the way the firmware upgrade turned out
let me know if you've found a solution
thanks
Jimmy

Try manually mapping network drive in Windows: \\192.168.X.X\Volume_1

Hi JavaLawyer,
thanks for your reply, I've tried manually mapping the network drive, didn't work
basically, before the firmware upgrade, I was able to to map the drive, access it from my laptop, tablet, etc
in my case, it is an external USB drive, and I had no problem access it from my laptop to the drive as \\192.168.0.192\USBDisk1_1, and the device was listed under Workgroup
after firmware upgrade, nothing worked, I tried reset the device; tried using different device name and using different IP, none of the above worked so far

OP - did you try:
1) Restarting the NAS box?
2) Check which workgroup name it is on and that your Windows machine is on the same workgroup? - Under System Management>Device
Sorry if that's basic, but you didn't mention them.

Hi kmanpilkers,
thanks for your reply
yes, already tried re-starting the device, and the workgroup name is the same as my Windows laptop, as I stated earlier, before the firmware upgrade, I could see the device under the workgroup and can play media files from my laptop
