Is the firmware located at ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/dir655/Firmware/dir655_firmware_122b05_beta.zip SecureSpot, or NON-SecureSpot version?  I am not interested in the SecureSpot versions, so I hope to avoid installing a firmware then having to revert back to the prior version.  Please let me know which this file is.  Thank you.

The firmware has securespot but you can disable it in advanced options.

After months of suffering to get secure FTP get working on FW 1.21
(after upgrading from 1.20. and I didn't know this before of a faulty 1.21) I've got every time a failure!
But with this Beta I can reach secure (SSL) FTP again, I have an account to download stock-data!
So I'll take the risk of this Beta because in the Dutch country there is NO waranty if the DIR655 hardware is broken!
Logitech products have another policy, why can't D-Link do the same?
Because the firmware in their products are for wordwide use!
