Title: D-Link 323 and D-Link 325 Compatibility

It seems like my 323 is failing and I can no longer access the disks or information on them.
Is the 325 compatible? I'm wondering if I'll be able to plug the HD's from the 323 in to the 325... without having them auto-format.
They are currently in a RAID 1 configuration.

It should be noted that I would like to try this method, as seen in the sticky (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41398.0) thread, but I'm running Windows 7. It looks like that piece of freeware is not compatible with anything released after 2008.

I was able to find an updated version of Ext2 here (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ext2fsd/files/Ext2fsd/0.51/) that works with Windows 7. Can someone update the sticky?
Also, I wasn't able to get the HD from the 323 to mount properly in Windows, even with the tool. In the Ext2 Volume manager software, I can assign a drive letter (volume) but can't create a mount point. Any ideas?

Due to the application of different formatting structures, RAID arrays created in the DNS-323 or DNS-325 are not cross-compatible between the two products. Standard Volumes may be compatible, but I cannot personally verify this claim.

Make sure your data is backed up before attempting any form of data migration.

Can you verify that this Windows driver can successfully mount a HDD formatted on a DNS-323 or DNS-325 and read the data therein?
