Hi there,
I own a dfl-800 HW ver A2.
I originally had a different firmware running on the system but we made some mistakes and ended doing a factory reset on the unit.
Now we are at firmware 2.12.00.44 and we annot upgrade to any firmware.
The error message over GUI is:
Firmware upload failed. There is something wrong with the firmware package.
Please download the firmware image from the D-Link support website and try again.
No matter what firmware we choose, we got the same message.
Firmwares we tried:
ftp://dpartner.dlink-intl.com/Firmware/Firewall/DFL-800/
http://security.dlink.com.tw (dfl800 section)
Any ideas?
thanks,

try using internet explorer or mozilla firefox or another version of this browsers

For anyone who finds this page, I resolved my issue of the firmware failing to install by forcing the management of the device to only use HTTP not HTTPS. I was then able to upgrade. Don't forget to turn HTTPS back on when done!
