Hi all,
I have been having no end of trouble with my D-Link DNS-345. Everything from data permissions errors, to slow speeds (1kb transferred in 8 hours) to very slow folder opening times, to the device even turning itself off... etc. etc.
However, Tech Support (in Australia) just got me to install v1.01b09 (a beta version) of the firmware, which I understand is to be released to the public this month.
This has solved all of my problems and I am now a 'happy camper'. ;D
Point being: if you are having troubles, expect your problems to be fixed shortly. :)
Well done to those who worked to fix the issues. Thank you.

BTW. . . what is the release date of that firmware?

No worries. . . I'm sure more firmware is forthcoming.
