OK so here we go.
I have tried doing speed tests. I get 11mb dl and it fails to connect for the UL speed test. I started noticing something going wrong when I would try to send an email through Outlook with a file attached of ANY size. SO I started doing the speed test and the UL would always fail.
Furry- I have not made any changes to the router that you setup for me. I even upgraded the firmware and still the same issue. I changed the router out with a NETGEAR and it works fine now. Have you seen this issue?
OH!! If i hard wire the laptop to the router then it works fine sending files. Its not feasible for me to connect it that way. Dont want a 100ft cable strung out through the house. If you want to jump on and check the settings I will have to reconnect it. Just let me know. This has me stumped and I think the router has taken a crap.

Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded?
What wireless modes are you using? Under Setup/Wireless/Manual.
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/AES Only. Some WiFi adapters don't support AES, so you might want to try TPIK only or Auto.
Any cordless house phones?
Any other WiFi routers in the area? Link> Use InSSIDer (http://www.metageek.net/) to find out. How many?
Ensure the drivers for the LT are up to date?
It's not recommended to Speedtest via Wifi. Too many variables and external conditions can effect accurate results.
Are wired speed tests good?

Firmware: 1.23
upgraded yesterday from 1.21NA thinkking maybe that would fix it.
OK when i run Speed Test with the 4500 CONNECTED it does not connect for the Upload test, but when i connect the Netgear it connects fine to the UPload test. I have not had any issues with the 4500 until yesterday. it worked flawlessly up until yesterday. Going to do a rest on the ***** and wipe the setting out to see if this fix's it. I will get back to you in a few.
Furry- Do you still have my ##?

K, let us know how the Factory reset goes, Save off the current config to file first. Then reset. Don't reload the config file, just set up from scratch.
I have a 6180 now. ;)
-
see what i mean. I responded to you and you never got the response
-
ok reset and wireless set reconnect up.
-
Ok man. Glad it's working, I think something either changed environmentally that maybe the cause or something on your ISP line. Play with the default settings and what I helped you set up. I would leave DNS as is for now. Change and test later on. Remember to save config to file before and after making changes. Keep us posted. Glad to be of help. ;)
