Western Digital just updated their website:
http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=810
WD Red NAS hard drives have been extensively tested for compatibility in 1-5 bay NAS systems in our FIT labs and AVL qualified with these key partners: D-Link, DROBO, Netgear, etc.
They just added the following D-Link NAS:
DNS-315
DNS-320
DNS-325
DNS-345

Just placed an order for two 3TB WD Red drives. Did some reading about the pros and cons, and the price premium. On balance decided that these were right for me, and found the drives at a good price, so decided to use these drives in my (soon to arrive) DNS-345. A few of the articles that I read, hope it helps others:

Drives arrived this week and I removed my 'test' 500 GB drive and installed the two WD Red 3TB drives in a RAID 1 setup. The unit is dead quiet (I could hear the seeking and drive spin up for my 500 GB drive but 'nada' for the two red drives) and runs only two degrees warmer.
