Title: Cannot see AirPort Express for AirPlay via repeater mode.

I have an airport express connected with wire to a DIR – 825. 

While connected directly to my iPad via wifi, my iPad can see the airport express.
But if I am connected via a DIR – 505 in repeater mode, I cannot see the airport express (but it passes the Google test).

Anyone know any tips?

Is the 505 connected to the 825 or are you trying to connect it to the AE?

When you say it "cannot see the AirPort Express", what exactly do you mean?  That it can't resolve the AirPlay service?  I think AirPlay relies on uPNP and I am not sure how that works with a repeater. Have you tried hotspot mode instead? (Though that might be even less likely to work given the topology.)

Take a look at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3846783?start=0&tstart=0 - you may need to do some adjustments to the router settings of the 505.
