Hi,
I really like my Dlink NAS but something troubling happened today. When I tried to save my system configuration, it popped up with a 500 internal error. Has anyone experienced this and is there a firmware fix for this?
thanks.

This happens when you try to save the "Configuration Settings" file?

Yes.

I also have the latest firmware installed.

If you haven't done so, please try using Internet Explorer to save the Configuration Settings file. I've seen errors generated on one of the newer D-Link routers while using other browsers. It's also possible that a specific combination of settings or specific settings field in the DNS-345 is generating the error. :-\

Thanks. Just tried it with IE9 and I get the same 500 internal error message.

RESOLVED by resetting to factory settings.

I am curious whether a particular setting that you had was either corrupt or causing the Configuration Settings file to fail.
