Title: Settings for seeing dns320 out of my home!!
Post by: homo on September 07, 2012, 01:00:29 AM
Hello to all.
I'm a new user, I don't have much experience about setting a nas over the internet.
Before starting to say the I steps I did,
I managed all PCs in my home and an xtreamer media player and ipad seeing dns320. Its wonderful. I have 2.03b03 firmware!
But the fan is noisy  ;)

Well, I have an dyndns account, I added these settings to my router (speedtouch 780) and in network management of sharecenter via browser. ok.
And now?
What must I do for seeing my dns out of my home?

Help me, please!

You need to do port forwarding on your router to port 80 of ur NAS. lets say you fwd port 1234 to port 80 of ur nas, so address will be homo.dyndns.com:1234 .

Something like that :)

You can only access via your dyndns address when ur outside your home lan.
