Title: No SMB after harddrive upgrade.
Post by: stayhard on September 17, 2012, 12:30:13 AM
Hi!

I use my DNS320 as a media server, and watch movies on my old XBOX using XBMC and SMB.

Yesterday I upgraded my harddrive, without problems, but in xbmc on my xbox I cant access smb at all after the upgrade.

What is wrong? Did I miss anything?

I cant even access the old drive with smb on my xbox that I didn't replace.

Go to settings and check that SMB is still activated.  Also check the other settings as well.

I solved it. I had to turn my computer on nearby my NAS, then the xbmc on my old xbox finds the smb share.
When I turn my computer off, the smb share still works. Just a bug? Don't know but it works fine now.

Thanks for reply!
