Title: DNS-325 management from iPad
Post by: venfan on October 06, 2012, 10:19:45 AM
Hi
I have a DNS-325, an iPad and a home network. I would just want to access the DIR-325 management menus from my iPad and my home network (not remote management in this moment). It is not possible from safari, as the iPad does not support Java. I tried with the iPad apps, but I can't have it work, as they request an account. I am not using the d-link cloud services, and at the moment I'm not interested, after reading about the HDs idling problems.

Is there any way to manage the DNS from my iPad?

Thank you

Correct, DNS webadmin does not require Java. It uses JavaScript instead, which is a different beast and fully supported by mobile Safari.
I've occasionally used my iPhone to access the webadmin and the only thing to complain about on iPhone is the screen layout, which is not designed for so little screen real estate.
On the iPad that should be less of an issue.
