Title: NFS speed using Win7 NFS client
Post by: Martin78 on October 10, 2012, 07:13:40 AM
Hi,

I mounted NFS share from my DNS-320 using Win7 built in NFS client (only in Enterprise/Ultimate version) hoping that I got even better transfer speed than with "Samba". To my disappointment NFS share is significantly slower than Samba. Samba peaks to 10MB/s and NFS round 4-5MB/s.

My question is: Does anybody know how to "tweak" NFS client in Win7 Ultimate so I get better transfer speeds than Samba?

I can describe steps how to mount NFS in Win7 (for enterprise/ultimate version) if someone wants it.

Thanks for suggestion/help.
