Title: If you are upgrading to Windows 8

You will need to use the Windows 8 trouble shooter and set D-View Cam's Main Console to XP service pack 3 compatibility mode.  Otherwise it will not run.

Good to know the workaround lancemoreland, thanks for sharing 8).
Aside from the tip, why don't you add a wish/request thread to the wishlist thread (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41413.45) asking for full Windows 8 compatibility?
If you find any bugs or there's something you'd like to be added or fixed on the next release report it there as well to that thread!
