				Hi everybody

First post, please be gentle, and I'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere - i'm presently on 57 kbps so searching is impossible
I'm having trouble with my D- Link DIR 645 smartbeam wireless router

Its brand new, im trying to connect it to a 4G broadband router (D- Link DWR 161) as the Wifi  on the 4G router is hopeless.

The 4g router puts it onto Ethernet,  all I want the DIR 645 to do is act as a switch, and also a Wifi access point,  but when you set it up it wants to handle the broadband connection aswell.  I seems unable to do this as it doesn’t offer 4g as a connection type

When connected, I can get the internet light on the DIR 645 to come on when connected to the broadband router, but the network connection on my PC says no internet access, and true enough, there is none.
Why does this router want to handle my internet connection – it is not a modem router?,  Is there any way I can bypass the routers handling of the internet connection?  Or does anybody know any other way round this?

 Help would be much appreciated
 Thanks
 Bob
