Title: EBR2310 problems
Post by: seeker3 on November 05, 2012, 08:41:02 AM
Hi all, this my first post here and I hope this hasn't been asked before.I have a Thompson SpeedTouch ST516 DSL modem/router and a EBR2310 router.I would like to use the EBR2310 as a simple switch or hub and I need to know what settings I would use to do that. When I use the EBR2310 I can share files between my wife's  computer and mine with no problems, but the internet slows way down or has trouble connecting to sites but if I use a simple hub,the internet works great but I can't connect to the other computer very well,if at all.So what I've been doing is using the router to share files and the hub for the internet, which is a pain.Any ideas on how to make the EBR2310 into a simple switch/hub? Oh yeah, this is a wired connection if that helps. Thank you:)
