Title: Motion detection recording

I'm trying to record using motion detection(24/7) only. It seems to be recording at all times. Any ideas?

Are you using Economic Recording and referring to it showing a an hour recording for every hour of the day? Yes that is how it seems however it will just keep a still frame for the time being there is no motion detected to reserver hard drive space. You will see when motion is in the recording by a red spike in the time line below.

You way want to try out just using an Event for motion detection. it will create a recording for only when the motion is detected.
