Hi everyone,
I am experiencing HTTP Error 500 when visiting society6.com
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request.
This is the only site I know of that produces this error. I've visited society6.com on my mobile 3G network, from work and the site works just fine. I just can't access it from my home computers, which are connected to DIR-655
I've also explored various settings that could be affecting, and even tested it on factory default settings... still no luck.
What can I do to remedy this?

Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41537.0)
What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.
Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option under Setup/Internet/Manual.

Hardware Version: B1
Firmware Version: 2.10NA
I updated Firmware today hoping it would resolve the issue but it didn't.
I tried your suggestion of disabling Advanced DNS Services, but I still receive the same error.
-
I would reboot the PC as well after you disabled Advanced DNS service.
What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router?
What ISP Modem make and model do you have?
If this modem has a built in router, it's best to bridge the modem. Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems.
Double NAT (http://www.practicallynetworked.com/networking/fixing_double_nat.htm)
Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.

Rebooted PC and removed Antivirus Software. Still no luck.
Teksavvy Cable: http://teksavvy.com/en/residential/internet/cable/cable-28 (http://teksavvy.com/en/residential/internet/cable/cable-28)
Stand alone modem: Thomson DCM 425 http://ncix.com/products/?sku=72074 (http://ncix.com/products/?sku=72074)

What browser are you using? Does this happen with Opera or FF?
Could your ISP be blocking by chance?
-
It doesn't work with Chrome, IE9, and FF.
I just installed Opera and it didn't work... but then I turned on 'Turbo' in Opera and it worked.
What could be happening here?

You might try connecting directly to the ISP modem, by passing the 655 router and see if the same thing happens using those same browsers.
