Title: DIR-615 rev A firmware
Post by: shiekh on November 21, 2012, 10:29:05 AM
http://proisk.com/?ext=zip&name=DIR615.1.14.7.RU.21122011.bin&order!=dl&size=6667328

suggests that firmware 1.14.7 may exist for the DIR-615 rev A, but I don't seem to be able to get hold of it; anyone know where else I might find it?

What region are you located. I can't find any on 3 different FTP resources.

Could be a mis posting or or type. I would contact whom ever posted that and see. Seems to have a date code for yesterday.

I am in North America, but would like to try this version (for fun)

http://proisk.ru/2?q=DIR615

shows many other versions beyond the 1.10 commonly available

1.10.5
1.12.7
1.13.0
1.13.1
1.14.3
1.14.7

thanks for the prompt reply.

Let us know if you can find it. Always nice to tinker around with FW version to see if they work. Keep us posted.

It is killing me to see all that stuff out there, and not being able to get to it.

Possible progress

The DIR-615 looks like it might be the same as the Acorp WR 300NU
and the later firmware comes from that machine

Interesting...

I have now found

Acorp_WR-300NU-2T2R-USB-IPV6.1.12.5.RU.01112011.bin
http://www.css.com.ua/ftp/default.asp?dir=%2FBIOS%2FRouter%2FAcorp%2FWR-300NU

but the DIR 615 does not accept it; it seems a little larger due to added USB support. My particular DIR 615 no longer accepts changes through power cycles, so I have little to lose with such experiments.

Its killing me not to get my hands on
  ftp://91.202.134.79/Exchanger/1/DIR615.1.14.7.RU.21122011.bin.zip
  ftp://91.202.135.88/Exchanger/1/DIR615.1.14.7.RU.21122011.bin.zip
which seem of the right size (6511 KB)
