Title: Connecting the DSM520 to different PCs

Hi there,

I´m new on this forum so apologies if easy questions.
2 problems so far:

1.- Can´t connect my DSM520 to 2 different laptops (both installed the media server sw). It works just on the first one but never see the second...
Firmware has been upgraded to 1.06. Hw version A4

2.- Can´t connect to any online service. Checked Rhapsody (running on my latop with UPNP mode enabled) and ActiveTV online. This is in fact why I´m trying a second laptop just in case it was caused by my security settings.

Thanks in advance. First problem would be easier to solve I guess.

I'm confused.   You state that you can't connect but then state that it works on one. 

Is firewall software running on the laptops?  This is a common issue when the DSM won't connect.

How are you connecting the DSM?  Are you going through a router or connecting it directly?
