Title: HP Printer to USB
Post by: corigins on November 26, 2012, 07:03:48 PM
Hello

I thought I could work this out but I am stumped. Does anybody know what I need to do to install a HP PSC 1320 AIO printer to the DNS-320L in Windows XP?

By default Windows XP doesn't have the drivers for this model so when I attempt to add a new network printer in Windows XP and it finds the 'lp' printer on the 320L, I can't add drivers from HP setup files or the install disk for the printer.

Is there another way I can add a HP printer using an alternative method?  ???

If the setup disk on the client PC is having difficulty recognizing the HP printer, you can try connecting the printer directly to the client PC; installing the drivers; and then moving the printer back behind the DNS-320L.
