Title: Files available offline - is this how DNS-325 works?
Post by: barcusmrandt on November 29, 2012, 03:21:53 PM
Hi,

I was just wondering about the "files available offline" option with the Sharecenter Shadow. Or is it an option - i can't seem to turn it off.
Is this how the NAS works? I was wondering about this and so i switched off the wireless on my PC, and found out that the NAS went offline/i couldn't open the mapped NAS map, as expected! But after a few seconds, the NAS came back "online", and  i was able to move files in and out of it.
I thought what i saw in the NAS map was the acutal live NAS, but is it?

How can i turn off the offline files option? It is starting the really annoying "windows sync center", which by the way can't be turned off at all, in my notification area.

Thanks!
