trying to setup this router is painful...
it can take up to 1 min to goto the next screen
what the hell ..is there a tweek to make this faster..
may return this product

Of course it got to configure with your modem.And there is a new firmware if you want download it's version:3.10.DIR 615 C1 "VERSION"

If you're talking about everytime you make a change and you save settings then the router starts to measure the gateway then yes that can take a minute.. What you can do first is disable QoS in the router.. make all the changes you need to and save all the settings then re-enable QoS if you would like to use it.

This also happened on my D-Link routers. Turned out I was having Internet access problems and the routers was first accessing the Internet before accessing its internal pages. Once my ISP resolved my access problem, the routers were behaving again.
You might consider disconnecting the Internet access modem while completing the initial set up. Once this is complete, you can reconnect the Internet access modem and then adjust the settings as needed

I have the similar problem. When I access admin menu from my LINUX workstation - it is painfully slow. You can go and have a cup of coffee while single page is loading. But when I use Windows PC. Access is very fast. management over internet is always fast, either on LINUX or Windows.
